Daniel practises in employment, general commercial and discrimination law.
Daniel returned to the Bar after a decade away during which time he worked in private practice (at Baker McKenzie, in the employment law department); undertook a PhD at Melbourne Law School; and worked as a lecturer at RMIT Graduate School of Business and Law. While undertaking his PhD, Daniel was appointed as a Teaching Fellow and taught Corporate Law. Upon completion of his PhD, Daniel was appointed as a lecturer at RMIT where he taught Evidence, Equity and Trusts and Discrimination Law in the JD program.
Before first coming to the Bar, Daniel was a solicitor at Arnold Bloch Leibler, practising in employment law. He has been admitted to practice in South Africa since 2009, where he worked for several years in employment law at Bowmans, a leading South African law firm. Daniel graduated cum laude with the degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town.
