Jacob is extremely well versed in County Court and Supreme Court processes, having worked closely with Judges at both Courts for a number of years before being called to the Bar. At the Supreme Court of Victoria he worked in the chambers of the then Chief Justice, Her Honour Justice Anne Ferguson (2018) and was then Associate to Judicial Registrar Caporale (2019). He has exceptional and precise skills in legal analysis and research having been employed as a Senior Researcher for the County Court of Victoria in the Common Law and Commercial Division (2020 – 2025)
Jacob has been published in the Law Institute Journal, the Monash University Law Journal, and the Australian Journal of Administrative Law. He was Chair of the Victorian Young Lawyers Law Reform Committee from 2019 to 2020 and was elected president of the Victorian Young Lawyers in 2021. Jacob is currently on the Law Institute of Victoria Administrative Review and Constitutional Law Sub-Committee.
